Provided places are available, you will be sent an immediate e-mail with confirmation and a pro-forma invoice that outline the cost of your trip. As soon as you receive a confirmation e-mail from us, you will need to provide us with your arrival details and hotel in Bali before joining our trip. We require this information for our meeting service and collection of payment for your chosen adventure trip

We have found through our own extensive travels that large resorts and chain hotels often isolate travelers from locals at their destination. We believe in giving our participants a richer experience by immersing them in the local culture and economy, instead of merely exposing them to more tours.All participants on Flores Adventure ’ trips stay in small hotels, guesthouses, inns and in some cases beach bungalows. These will vary from island to island, but in all cases the accommodation will usually be owned and operated by local people. This way, your money will be supporting the local people of the island you are visiting and not large corporations.

On our trips, you will receive daily breakfast and refreshments en route. For lunches and dinners, you will be advised by our tour guides of recommended restaurants owned and operated by locals. In many cases, water will be provided for free, however, in some areas drinking it wouldn’t be a good idea. Our guides will always be on hand to tell you when and where water is safe to drink. We highly recommend bringing a water bottle with an in-line filter system.Although you will have the opportunity to order food which is like that you normally eat at home, we recommend trying all the local specialties. After all, food is a major part of any vacation or trip, as well as a major part of any country’s culture and you just may discover a few new favorites.

Our guides know all the ins and outs of the destination in question. They are also knowledgeable about spots not on the map or sites well off the beaten tourist trail. Our guides are savvy people with their own particular specialties that vary from guide to guide and island to island.

Due to the lack of public transportation access to tourist attractions, we have included private transportation for the group. The size of transportation will depend on the number of participants in a trip. All groups will be transported in a non air-conditioned coach.

To avoid hassle prior to departure from your source country, deposit or payment transfer and full payment are required. The due date and account number will be sent to you at the time we sent you that trip confirmation. Payment can be made in IDR, Euro, Australian Dollar, Singapore Dollar or Yen based on the official exchange rate at the time of transaction.

Flores Adventure Tours highly recommends that you purchase travel insurance. You are entirely responsible for arranging travel insurance on your own, prior to trip departure. Flores Adventure Tours accepts no liability for travelers who do not carry traveler’s insurance.

Participation in Flores Adventure Tours require that you are in good health. It is essential that persons with any medical problems or dietary restrictions make them known to us well before departure. We can then counsel you on whether the adventure trip you have selected is right for you. Our tour escort has the right to disqualify any participant at any time during the trip if he or she feels the participant is physically incapable and/or if a participant’s continued participation will jeopardize either the individual involved or the group. There will be no refund give under these circumstances. Flores Adventure is not a medical facility and therefore has no expertise nor responsibility regarding what medications or inoculations you and your private physician should decide necessary for your safe participation in the trip. Hospital facilities for serious medical problems are unavailable in Komodo and Flores island and evacuation will be prolonged, difficult and expensive. Flores Adventure assumes no liability regarding the provision of medical care.

All land costs are based on twin or double occupancy. If you are a single traveler and wish to share accommodations, we will match you with a roommate if one is available, or room you with the guide. If you prefer single accommodations, you must pay the single supplement. Single arrangements are not always available in wilderness locations.
